Week 5: Quilt Top Assembly
This week, we’re using our sashing strips and cornerstones to turn all of our blocks into finished quilt tops. Once your blocks are joined into rows and your rows are sewn together, congratulations, you now have a completed Winter Blossom quilt top! YAY!
- I recommend “stay-stitching” around the perimeter of your quilt top once it's assembled. This is simply a seam sewn about 1/8" from the edge, and it helps secure any seams that might be prone to unraveling.
Prizes
There will be two grand prize winners for the final week of the Winter Blossom QAL! Each winner will receive free edge-to-edge quilting for their completed Winter Blossom quilt top, generously sponsored by @quiltysaurus and @sweetpeadesignco.
- Make sure your Instagram account is set to public (only public accounts are eligible).
- Snap a photo of your Week 6 progress: this could be your completed quilt top!
- Share the photo on Instagram and be sure to: use the hashtags #WinterBlossomQuilt, #SewspiciousPatterns, and #WinterBlossomQAL in your caption.
- Tag @sewspicious in the photo - Please make sure to tag me in the photo or I won't be able to see your posts.
Week 5 Prize Winner
Longarming Discount
One last thing, don't forget that all Winter Blossom QAL participants receive 30% off edge-to-edge longarming of your finished quilt tops from @Sweetpeadesigncompany.

I lived the QAL! Thanks so much for putting together. Have you selected the final winners? I never saw it or got the wrap up email.
I did not receive the newsletter wrap up. Can you resend? I really do love this pattern. I am amazed at how well it all fits together
